Recruiting Contractor for Skye Cycle Network Project
SkyeConnect is recruiting a self employed contractor to take forward the work that we have been carrying out with Sustrans for the last 2 years establishing an options appraisal for active travel routes within and between communities on Skye. The job advert can be seen in our News Section. The Final Sustrans report that forms the foundation for the work will be released shortly.

Scottish Tourism Alliance
A request has been received from the STA (Scottish Tourism alliance) to provide the Scottish Govt with feedback on punctuality of flights to and from Scottish airports based on 3 specific questions :
- What is the current view of punctuality of flights to and from Scottish airports?
- How has this changed over the last 3, 10, 15 and 20 years?
- How has punctuality of airlines to and from Scottish airports affected your members’ business activities including but not limited to: Meetings, Trade and Connecting travel?

A reminder to B&B and self catering operators , after Oct 1st this year it will be illegal to operate without a Licence. Once you have been awarded a licence it will be your responsibility to include the Licence no. in all promotions – on website, adverts, etc.
